Unlike the aloe vera plant where the whole plant is harvested at once, only the
outer leaves of the aloe ferox are used in the tapping process which ensures that
the plant can be used repeatedly and only its maximum potency being utilised.
The cut leaves are stacked upon each other and over time the bitter sap of the
aloe ferox is collected. The harvesting and processing of the aloe ferox is still
being done in the same traditional way as it has been done over all the ages.

100 different products are being made from the aloe ferox plant, giving relief from
